Instead of going to a bus terminal, office, or drop-off point, you create a delivery request in Safiri, and we dispatch a rider to collect the parcel from your door.

How Door Pickup Works

1. Open Safiri

Open the Safiri app or visit our website and start a new parcel delivery request.

2. Add Pickup and Delivery Details

Tell us:

  • Pickup address (where the rider should come)
  • Destination
  • Parcel details (what you’re sending, size/weight)
  • Receiver’s name and phone number

This helps us suggest the best delivery options and keep your receiver informed.

3. Choose How You Want It Delivered

Based on your route, Safiri will show you available options such as:

  • Rider delivery
  • Bus delivery
  • Flight delivery

You can also choose how the receiver will get the parcel at the destination:

  • Home delivery
  • Locker pickup
  • Agent pickup

Pick the option that best fits your speed and budget.

4. Confirm and Pay

Review your details, confirm the request, and complete payment in the app or on the website.

Once payment is done, your Door Pickup is confirmed.

5. Rider is Dispatched

Safiri assigns a nearby rider and sends them to your location to collect the parcel.

You’ll be able to see the status of your pickup and delivery in the app.

6. Hand Over Your Parcel

Before the rider arrives, make sure:

  • The parcel is packed securely
  • The label and receiver details are clear and correct
  • You’ve followed Safiri’s packing and safety guidelines

When the rider gets to your door:

  • They’ll verify the pickup
  • Confirm your parcel details
  • Start the delivery immediately
